

Manfred R. Koethe –
Co-Founder, President and Chief Technology Officer of
88solutions Corporation has about 30 years experience in
complex information modeling and distributed environments. As
chief architect for several international research projects,
he created "first-of-a-kind" solutions in distributed product
model sharing, heterogeneous workflow interoperability, and
virtual enterprise management. As a long-term OMG member, he
is among the "founding fathers" of Model-Driven-Architecture
(MDA), influenced many international accepted standards in
this area, including UML-2, MOF and EDOC, and is an elected
member of the OMG Architecture Board. His current focus is on
model-driven modeling environments, executable component
models and rules-driven information systems.
Manfred Koethe holds a "Dipl.-Ing" degree (MS in Engineering) from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany. As adjunct professor of Northeastern University in Boston, he teaches model-driven architecture and advanced software engineering to graduate students.
